ok, so we finally finished the laying of the fired bricks...unfortunately, when it came time to arranged the timber for the frame, we realised one large error. We had failed to place four of the required stirrups for the poles right where we had already laid the fired bricks. So it's out with the cold chisel and crowbar to dismantle some of the brickwork and bolt in the stirrups.
